REWIND
July 20, 2026A Documentary On A Lost Hobby Of An Era
REWIND is a feature documentary about two men in the UAE who have built their lives around physical music — one through vinyl, one through cassette — in a world that moved everything
to the cloud. It is a film about what ownership of art once meant, what the ritual of music felt like before it became frictionless, and what we quietly lost when convenience won.

About The Film
Before music became infinite, it was fragile. It warped. It snapped. It could be lost forever if you left it in a car on a summer afternoon. And because it could be lost — it was loved differently.
REWIND is not a film about nostalgia for a format. It is a film about what ownership of art once meant to people — and what we quietly surrendered when convenience won.
When music became infinite, cheap and available at a fingertip —
did we gain a library, or lose a relationship?
The film does not answer this question. It lives inside it. It finds two men who have been living inside it for decades and asks them to show us what they know.
This is not a film about two shops. It is a film about two philosophies of love — what you do with something too precious to lose. One man releases it into the world. The other seals the most precious part of it away forever. Neither is wrong. The film lives in the space between them.
Stay tuned for the Release dates and updates.
